Season 19 Announcement

As we are coming to an end of our 18th Season, we are excited to announce what we will be bringing to the Stage in 2022 - 2023! Including company auditions dates, productions and more! We can't wait to celebrate more dance performances in the new season with you!


Each season we hold company auditions. These are open auditions for dancers age 13 - adult that dance at an advanced - professional level. Dancers from around the region are welcome to audition. More details will be released in a separate post soon with audition information, requirements and details.

Note: Dancers who are accepted into the company from this audition may not have a large role in our production of Spooky Ballets. You will still perform in the production however.


We are thrilled to be back at the Fargo Theatre for Spooky Ballets this fall!! Join us October 29 and 30, 2022 for popcorn and a thriller dance performance featuring an original ballet Nightmare Before Christmas.


The magical production of The Classic Nutcracker will be back at NDSU Festival Concert Hall this holiday season. We have some things growing up our sleeves to add a bit of over the top excitement to the stage this season! You won't want to miss this holiday tradition.

Our production of The Classic Nutcracker features our FMBallet Company members, a 30+ professional LIVE orchestra, Guest Artists, stunning costumes by FMBallet Costume Designer Suzanne Spiese, and choreography by Artistic Director, Matthew Gasper. This performance has open auditions September 11, 2022 for area dancers age 6 - adult. Sign-up today to audition!

The FMBallet is excited to bring our NEW dance performance to the Fargo-Moorhead-West Fargo and surrounding communities. We are taking our Spring production to NEW heights with Peter Pan. Join us May 6 & 7 at the Fargo Theatre as we travel to a place where we will never grow up, Neverland!

We will be celebrating World Ballet Day the entire month of October! Highlighting our FMBallet Company members, hosting a FREE Ballet Class in Broadway Square, as well as a mini performance. Details for month events coming soon.


This season we are bringing to you a Holiday Vendor Market - Sugarplum Market! If you make handmade goods, this market is for you! Or if you love to shop handmade goods you won't want to miss grabbing some holiday gifts. Not only will be have amazing vendors from the area, we will be offering ornament making kits, pictures with the Sugarplum and Nutcracker, as well as other fun holiday activities!

We are bringing our Summer Performance Intensive back next summer! During this 2 week intensive, dancers will learn choreography from our Company Members. At the end of the intensive they will have a free LIVE performance in Broadway Square! More details coming Winter 2022.


Train with incredible master instructors from the FM area and around the United States. Our Summer Dance Intensive program brings dance teachers from around the United States to us right here in the Fargo-Moorhead-West Fargo area. This elite training program will enhance your dancers training to prepare them for their upcoming dance season or future career in dance and performance. Auditions and details coming late Fall 2022.
