Our 2022-2023 Company auditions are right around the corner. This season company members will be performing 3 major productions, and they will have the opportunity to choreograph for our Summer Dance Performance Intensive. Throughout the season and summer, company dancers participate in appearances and events in the community, as well as potential travel to festivals.

Pointe is not a requirement to audition or be apart of the company.
Company Information
As a member of the FMBallet you will be required to attend company class on Wednesday evenings and Sunday early afternoons. In addition to company class, there will be outside rehearsal times for productions. These schedules are released approximately 2 weeks prior to the rehearsal taking place.
Company Class: Wednesdays 7:30pm - 9:30pm (Gasper's School of Dance - Downtown Studio); Sundays 12:30pm - 2:00pm (Gasper's School of Dance - Downtown Studio)
Rehearsals typically take place: Wednesdays (during company class), Thursday (individuals and small groups) 8:30pm - 9:30pm; Saturdays after 3pm; and Sundays after 2pm. You may not be called in every week for rehearsal, these are our typical rehearsal times for productions.
Perform in 3 major productions: -- Spooky Ballets (October 29 & 30, 2022) -- The Classic Nutcracker (December 16 - 18, 2022) -- Peter Pan (May 6 & 7, 2023)
The opportunity to choreography for our Summer Performance Intensive.
Principal, Soloists, Corps de Ballet, and Apprentices are all paid a performance stipend for our major productions.

There are no fees to be apart of the FMBallet company. We have always believe that one should not pay to perform.
Trainee dancers are required to take a minimum of two ballet classes and a pointe class at Gasper's School of Dance. (This is highly recommended for all company dancers). Males are encouraged to take two ballet classes and mens dance. Other styles of dance are also beneficial.

Nov 27 -- Sugarplum Market Event
Dec 7 -- Story Time at the Fargo Public Library (Nutcracker)
Dec 16-18 -- The Classic Nutcracker at NDSU
TBD -- Peter Pan Auditions
May 6 & 7, 2023 -- Peter Pan at the Fargo Theatre
We are also working on additional appearance and Mini Nutcracker performances.
