Company auditions for our 2016 - 2017 season will be held on August 31, 2016 at 7:30pm. The FMBallet is a great opportunity for an advance, pre-professional, or professional level dancer to be a part of a growing ballet company. The FMBallet focuses on Ballet, Pointe, Classic Jazz, and Contemporary. You do not need to be en pointe to audition (or even be apart of) the company. We seek dancers of all skill levels and training. This season the FMBallet will have 3 performances in Fargo-Moorhead, and will be traveling to Midstates Regional Dance Festival in Arizona the first week of May 2017. Promotional, residencies, and appearance may also be required throughout the season. We also get to rehearse and have company class in the newly renovated Gasper's School of Dance space (home of the FMBallet).
Our company has the following company positions: Principal, Soloist, Corps de Ballet, Apprentice, and Trainee. Dancers must be age 12 by January 1, 2017 to audition for the company. Weekly FMBallet Class / Rehearsal time is mandatory. The company meets Wednesday's at 7:20pm and Friday at 7:20pm. During major productions, extra rehearsal time may be required. These times are usually set up on Sundays, with schedules being released 2 weeks ahead of time.
