Auditions: Second Company 2024-2025

Open auditions for our NEW 2024-2025 Second Company will take place on 

Friday, August 16, 2024

5:30pm - 7:00pm 

Gasper's School of Dance (home of the FMBallet)

524 7th St N

Fargo, ND 58102

• All area dancers that are ages 10 - 19 are welcome to audition. 
• Should be at an intermediate - advanced training.

What to Bring / Complete Prior To Audtions

• Audition Form (you can upload a Dance / Performance Resume to Form)
• Headshot (included on audition form)
• Conflict Sheet (August 30, 2024 - May 17, 2025)

Female Audition Attire

• Black Letoard 
• Pink or Skintone Tights
• Ballet Slippers & Pointe shoes (if en pointe)
• Short black skirt (optional)
• Hair must be pulled back in a neat ballet bun.

Male Attire

• Black t-shirt or tank top
• Black ballet tights or bike shorts
• Black ballet slippers

Second Company Commitment

Second Company dancers are required to:

• Attend all Second Company classes and rehearsals (Fridays 5pm - 6:30pm and Sundays 12pm - 1pm, rehearsals will be scheduled throughout the week and weekend).
• Perform in season major productions and dance concerts.
• Attend majority of our in-town appearances, performances and events.
• Committed to training outside company class and rehearsals. Second Company requires: 2 ballet classes and 1 pointe class at a local studio.
• Pay $900 for FMBallet Second Company season training (this does not include technique classes required as outlined above).
• FMBallet and dance should be your main commitment. If you are accepted in the company, and you choose to participate in additonal extracurricular activites, FMBallet class and rehearsals should be written down as your conflicts for that activity.
