Auditions: Peter Pan

Come fly with us this Spring as we bring Peter Pan, a brand new FMBallet production to the Fargo Theatre! Fargo-Moorhead-West Fargo and surrounding area dancers age 6 through adult and all levels welcome to audition. 

AUDITION INFORMATION

There is NO cost to audition. There are also no activity fees if you are casted in the production.

TIME SLOTS

1:00pm - 2:00pm: Ages 6 - 8

2:00pm - 3:00pm: Ages 9 - 12

3:00pm - 4:00pm: Ages 13 - Adult

4:00pm - 5:00pm: Dancers en Pointe

-- Dancers should arrive 10 - 15 minutes before their time slot to check in, warm-up and turn in their audition form.

-- Audition Form can be filled out online or printed, filled in and brought to the audition.

-- Dancers should wear proper dance attire 

• females: leotard, tights and ballet slippers; 
• males athletic pants or ballet tights and t-shirt
• hair should be secured back in a ballet bun

RESUME, CONFLICT SHEET & HEADSHOT

All dancers auditioning MUST turn in a resume, conflict sheet and headshot to be considered for casting. 

If you do not have a resume, please fill out our audition form.

Please note that any conflict dates given after the audition and casting may mean dismissel from the cast. This is due to the limited amount of rehearsal time for each part in the show. Many dancers casted are not required to meet weekly, and because of that the scheduled rehearsal dates are very important.

CAST ANNOUNCEMENT

We will announce our cast for this production by Friday, January 13, 2023. We will post on our NEWS page, as well as by email to the cast.

REHEARSAL INFO

Rehearsals are MANDATORY. By auditioning for our production you or your dancer is making a commitment to our cast and production. Missed rehearsals may mean dismissal from the cast. All cast members are important to the creative process.

Rehearsals for FMBallet productions typically take place Saturday and Sunday leading up to the production. Advanced Dancers may be called on Wednesday evenings during the FMBallet rehearsal time. Rehearsal schedules are released at least 2 weeks prior to them taking place and are located on our Calendar page on our website. Your dancer will only need to be at the rehearsals for the part they are casted in. Rehearsal time is limited and important to attend to remain in the cast. 

Rehearsal the weekend before the production CANNOT be missed, as this is our final dress rehearsal before we are in the theatre.

COSTUME FITTING

Mandatory Costume fitting will take place on Sunday, January 22, 2023 at Gasper's School of Dance - Downtown Studio

PRODUCTION INFO

-- 2 Weeks prior to the production, dancers will be required to be at full runs of the show at the studio. These rehearsals are often dismissed down.

-- Theatre rehearsals are the weekend of the production.
