Tegan is a junior at Davies high school. She began dance at the age of 4 and has trained at Gasper's School of Dance and Performing Arts for most of her dance education under the direction of Matthew Gasper. During the dance season she studies ballet, pointe, jazz, lyrical, contemporary, musical theatre, and improv; with her greatest loves being ballet and pointe.
She has danced with the FMBallet in many performance experiences through the years and this is Tegan’s fifth season as a company member of the FMBallet. Some of her favorite FMBallet performances have included: The Classic Nutcracker, the Spooky Ballets featuring Dracula, the Wizard of Oz, Spirit Rising, Sleeping Beauty, Dante’s Inferno and the LEGACY Tribute. Tegan continues to be humbled by the emotional impact that dance brings, both personally and to an audience and is honored to be a part of the FMBallet.
Tegan continues to train during summer intensive sessions locally, through the FMBallet but, has also trained with the Minnesota Dance Theatre, Chanhassen Dinner Theater, USA Ballet, Ballet West, and the National Choreography Intensive. She has trained in master classes at the regional and national conferences for Regional Dance America, along with attending master classes as a part of the Youth America Grand Prix program.
Tegan has been honored to have been awarded a season scholarship for the 2017-2018 at Gasper’s School of Dance, the Eddie Gasper Legacy Foundation Scholarship for the Arts in 2018, a full scholarship to the Regional Dance America National Choreography Intensive 2018, a full scholarship to the 2018 Tulsa Ballet Summer Intensive and a full scholarship to the 2019 Oklahoma City Ballet Company Summer Intensive.
