Spooky Ballets

10/04/2017

It has been 6 seasons since we last performed Spooky Ballets. As the company is growing we are excited to be able to add performances like this to our season.

If you are not sure what to expect, let us explain a little bit about this performance.

  • The show is recommended for ages 8 - adult. Though in the past all ages have attended.

  • In a way it is like a variety show. We have all genres of dance including Jazz, Tap, and Ballet.

  • The "Thriller" you will see on stage is inspired by the original, but not original choreography. This piece was choreographed by Artistic Director, Matt Gasper.

  • NEW to this season is a piece called "Dance of the Arachnids", choreographed by Junior Company Ballet Mistress, Lindsey Setzekorn and performed by our Junior Company.

  • This is our Junior Company's FIRST production of the season. Our company is excited to share the stage with these dancers.

  • "Dracula" is our featured performance with original choreography by Matt Gasper. This is the second time we have presented this piece at Spooky Ballets.

  • Costume Contest. We welcome ALL to dress up and get involved in our performance. We host a costume contest during intermission, which is judged by local business owners, TV Personalities and more. Prizes are from local businesses including Fargo Theatre, Zanbros, Rosey's Bistro, Family Fare, Mezzaluna, Scheels Home & Hardware and MUCH more!! It cost $5 to enter and ALL ages are welcome. Register when you purchase your ticket, or at the door.

  • Dress up and get a cookie! Insomnia Cookies has donated cookies to the FMBallet. Dress-up to get a FREE cookie!

Tickets are now on sale for Spooky Ballets ft. Dracula. We don't want to give all the spooky details away. So purchase your tickets, plan your costume, and we will see you October 21 at the Fargo Theatre.
