2017 - 2018 Season Announcement: Productions

We are so excited to announce out 2017 - 2018 Season. We have another big season ahead, with adding a fall production, and creating a new works in the spring!

This upcoming season we are bringing back Spooky Ballets. Last performed in 2008. This fan favorite will be coming to the Fargo Theatre Stage October 21, 2017. The featured performance will be Dracula. Artistic Director, Matt Gasper is excited to bring this piece back to the stage. You won't want to miss this!

The holiday season would not be complete with out The Classic Nutcracker. Each season we bring something new to the stage. Whether it is new costumes, added dances, set pieces, and / or choreography. The professional FMBallet company members dance to the music of Tchaikovsky performed by the professional Wonderland Orchestra. The Wonderland Orchestra is made up of members from the FM Symphony, in addition to area professional musicians. You will not be disappointed by the sound or the dancing.

From a patron:

I recently saw FMBallet perform The Nutcracker. The sweet music wafted up from the orchestra pit as local youths sang sweetly from the balcony. Mice wrinkled their noses as they took on an army of toy soldiers, snow floated gracefully through the air, and sugarplums are still dancing through my mind. This will be a new family tradition for the holidays.

-- Alycia Gabel

We are closing our season with a new works that we are taking to new heights. Aladdin will be gracing the Fargo Theatre stage April 20 - 21, 2018. Artistic Director, Matt Gasper is really excited to bring this story to life through dance and story telling. Like Wizard of Oz, this piece will wow you and leave your heart full.

We are so excited to bring these pieces to life this upcoming season. Come along for the journey!
