The FMBallet is participating in the FM Area Caring Catalog. We are fundraising for The Wonderland Orchestra's Performance in FMBallet's The Classic Nutcracker. Your support will allow FMBallet to employ the 32 local, professional musicians who make up the Wonderland Orchestra. They will perform the music live for The Classic Nutcracker December 15th and 16th at NDSU Festival Concert Hall. The Wonderland Orchestra is under the direction of Dr. Christina Chen-Beyers, and these highly qualified musicians include PhD and Master's level trained professionals. FMBallet's The Classic Nutcracker is the only ballet production performed with a live orchestra in our region, you have to go to Winnipeg or Minneapolis to see a ballet with live musicians.
FMBallet strives to make professional dance accessible to families, individuals and under-served populations by keeping ticket prices affordable and making as many free public appearances as possible while maintaining our no participation fee policy. We have open auditions for The Classic Nutcracker and FMBallet does not charge an audition or activity fee to be involved. We believe in providing the opportunity for area dancers age 6+ to adult to dance alongside our professional company of dancers and the unique opportunity to perform to music played by alive orchestra.

#GivingTuesday: When you give on #GivingTuesday (Tuesday, November 27) you will be put into a drawing. One person will receive $500 to put toward an FM Area Caring Catalog nonprofit of their choice. #GivingTuesday is an international day of giving held the Tuesday after Thanksgiving.
$25 Gift Cards: FM Area Foundation will be doing drawings throughout the next six weeks for $25 gift cards to local businesses to promote Give Local, Shop Local.
