MARY BETH PORTER

SOLOIST

Mary Beth is 16 years old and has been dancing for 12 years. This is her second year in FMBallet company. Mary Beth was in FMBallet junior company and Gaspers competition for two years. As a member of FMBallet junior company, she attended Regional Dance America to perform and take master classes. In 2019 she performed two solo pointe variations at Youth America Grand Prix. She has performed various roles FMBallets the classic Nutcracker throughout the past 10 years, prior to landing her dream role this year as Clara. She danced in the traveling Moscow Ballet Nutcracker. In addition to her Nutcracker performances she has been in numerous other FMBallet productions with memorable roles as The Black Poodle in Tribute the Magic Toy Shop, Little Red Riding Hood in Sleeping Beauty, Nimuue in Spirit Rising, and the Apprentice in The Sorcerer’s Apprentice.
