2023 Summer Intensive Audition

Train with an amazing staff of master dance instructors from around the country right here in the Fargo-Moorhead-West Fargo area. Dancers that dance at an intermediate through pre-professional level are welcome to audition for our program. During the 3-week summer intensive dancers will train in mulitple disciplinaries that may include Ballet, Pointe (Pre-Pointe), Varations, Contemporary, Jazz, Tap, and more to help them become a well rounded trained dancer.

AUDITION INFORMATION

There are TWO audition date options. Your dancer only needs to attend ONE of the dates.

Audition 1: Saturday, January 14, 2023

Gasper's School of Dance - Downtown Studio (Home of the FMBallet)

1:00pm - 2:30pm -- Ages 13+

2:30pm - 4:00pm -- Ages 8 - 12

Audition 2: Saturday, April 8, 2023

Gasper's School of Dance - Downtown Studio (Home of the FMBallet)

2:30pm - 4:00pm (Ages 8 +)

Cost to audition: $20.00 

Audition Attire

• Black Leotard 
• Pink Tights
• Ballet Slippers 
• Pointe Shoes (if dancer is en pointe)
• Hair in a ballet bun
• Males: Solid black shirt, black ballet tights, black shorts or atheletic pants, Black ballet slippers

Turn In

Please turn in a RESUME and HEADSHOT at the audition or email it to info@fmballet.org prior to the audition with the email title: Summer Intensive Auditions Resume.

If you cannot make one of the audition times, please contact us to turn in a video audition. Email info@fmballet.org to find out what is needed for the audition video.

INTENSIVE INFORMATION

July 10 - 28, 2023

Gasper's School of Dance - Downtown Studio

Approx time they will meet daily: 8:30am - 4pm (with a lunch break) Monday - Thurdsday | Friday 8:30am - 12:30pm

• Dancers who are accepted in our program will be placed in a level with their peers and dancers at their similar level.
• Your dancer will be contacted via letter and email if they are accepted into our Summer Intensive Program.
• Your Non-refundal deposit of $150 is due May 1, 2023 if you want to hold your spot for our program.
• Payment is due in full on June 1, 2023 (your deposit is part of your full payment).

If you are only able to attend a portion of our intensive, please email us at time of acceptance, so we can plan accordingly. It is always best to complete the full 3 weeks to see results in your training.
